I would like a nutritionist to assess my diet plan, what information should I have ready before I call in? Our nutritionists can customize the Almased Diet plan to suit your lifestyle and can help you make adjustments to your diet along to way so that you can stay on track with achieving your weight loss goals. Before calling in, be prepared to provide information about your age, gender, height, current weight and desired goal weight, physical activity level, and health goals. You can provide any other information, such as medications and medical history that could affect your weight loss efforts. All information will be kept confidential with our nutritionists and none will be kept on record. Our nutritionists will simply use this information to help determine your calorie level and weight loss goal while on the phone with you or help you determine whether your current goals are realistic. If you have started on the Almased Diet plan already, you can provide information about your week to week weight loss progress and your diet plan. Prior to speaking with our nutritionists, make sure to keep a 24 hour to 3 day food record of your daily intake. Be specific as possible when giving information about your daily intake by including measurements of the ingredients you use to make your shakes and meals. For example, 3 oz of boneless, skinless chicken with 1 cup of steamed broccoli. If you eat out for your meals, make sure to write down the name of the menu item and restaurant and the portion you consumed. This will help our nutritionists calculate your actual calorie intake and make adjustments either to your shakes or meals. By having your information ready before speaking with our nutritionists, they will be able to advise you better on your current progress and diet plan.
