I learned about Almased while in my doctor’s office. I saw the Almased advertisement in a magazine and it caught my eye. Over the past year, I had picked up quite a bit of weight. I turned 52 years old on my last birthday which was April 8th. While looking at the birthday celebration pictures we had taken, I could not believe how much weight I had gained. Three shakes per day and vegetable broth in between when I felt hungry. I couldn’t believe how quickly the pounds just fell off.
My favorite shake is the caramel latte recipe - it tastes like a caramel frappe - I love it! On April 16th, I weighed 196 lbs. Today on August 8th, I weigh 144 lbs. It has been almost 4 months and I have lost 52 lbs. AMAZING!! People started asking me how I was doing it and six of my friends have also tried the program after seeing my results. I would highly recommend Almased to anyone who needs to lose weight. It truly works if you stick to the plan.
My doctor has noticed my lab work has improved significantly since I lost weight and we are hopeful that I may get to the point where my medications will no longer be needed. Now that I am at my goal weight, I continue to maintain my weight by eating healthier. Sticking to lean proteins and vegetables and no longer snacking on sugary foods or junk food.
